If Brooklyn weren't part of New York, it would still be the fourth largest city in the United States. Kings County is the most populous county in New York State and the 7th most populous county in the nation. No wonder it's been called "Home to Everyone from Everywhere"!

But Brooklyn isn't just home to individuals and families. It's also home to over 38,000 businesses, which employ over a quarter of a million workers, in fields as diverse as retail and wholesale trade, utilities, services, industry, finance, insurance, real estate, hospitality, food service, entertainment, construction, and information technology. That's some tough competition! It's a good thing succeeding as one of these mostly small businesses is just the kind of challenge we Brooklynites relish. Our History
Brooklyn Business Base is one of Brooklyn's oldest business networking groups. We grew out of the former Brooklyn Leads, changing the name to reflect the fact that we are about much more than just getting new leads. Although quality referrals are an important part of what we offer,  we recognize that sharing knowledge, brainstorming new ideas, gaining a solid reputation, building relationships, and enjoying time with colleagues are equally important.
